Points and Levels

Points

Unlike in previous incarnations of the league, there is now only one type of points - Pokemon Points (PP). Trainers will receive PP for both reffing and battling.

Earning Points by Battling

For normal battles, trainers receive:
6x the number of Pokemon per side for a win.
3x the number of Pokemon per side for a draw.
1x the number of Pokemon per side for a loss.

For Double Team Battles, trainers receive:
4x the number of Pokemon per side for a win.
2x the number of Pokemon per side for a draw.
1x the number of Pokemon per side for a loss.

If a match ends via a DQ, the ref or a LO will decide on how the points will be awarded. In most cases this will be based on the number of KOs scored by the non-DQ'd trainer.

More points may be awarded for Tournaments, Gym Matches etc.

Earning Points by Reffing

To encourage reffing, refs will not only get regular per-battle payments, but a monthly salary based upon reffing quality and frequency.

For reffing normal and Double Team battles, referees will receive 5x the number of Pokemon per side

The monthly salary is 15, 10 or 5 points depending upon the referee's grade. Referees must have been reffing during the month to receive pay and pay may be cut if the LOs deem that the month's reffing is not up to standard.

Earning Points in Other Ways

Points can also be awarded as prizes in tournaments. Other ways to gain points may arise in the future.

Spending Points

There are three main things you can spend your points on. Spent points are non-refundable.
